Sunday, October 5 we will host an Outdoor Access and Ethics Clinic from 6:30 - 8:00 in the Studio Wall space. Aaron Parlier will host the clinic which will be free for members (standard daypass for guests) and open for any and all who would like to register, with spaces for up to 10 registrants. The clinic will be focused on the Boone, NC Highcountry and will cover the sensitive nature and nuances of Highcountry bouldering access, as well as some of the important bouldering and route climbing history that lead us to today’s current climbing landscape. Also, a discussion on important and appropriate outdoor climbing ethics, and ways to volunteer and get involved with your local climbing organizations.
